The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Voting rights: Release of voting rights announcements according to section 26 (1) WpHG (Securities Trading Act) with the aim of a Europe-wide distribution By letter dated 14 May 2014 Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway), Oslo, Norway, notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz) that on 13 May 2014 Norges Bank fell below the threshold of 5 percent of the voting rights in Linde Aktiengesellschaft and on that date held 4.04 percent of the voting rights (7,496,925 voting rights). By letter dated 14 May 2014 the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway, Oslo, Norway, notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz) that on 13 May 2014 the State of Norway fell below the threshold of 5 percent of the voting rights in Linde Aktiengesellschaft and on that date held 4.04 percent of the voting rights (7,496,925 voting rights).
