The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERBIO AG again increased its earnings forecast for 2013/2014 Zörbig/Leipzig, May 5, 2014 - For its continuing operations as of March 31, 2014, VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG has reported EBITDA of EUR 28.9 million (9 M 2012/2013: EUR -0.8 million) and EBIT of EUR 12.4 million (9 M 2012/2013: EUR -120.1 million). Taking into account the prospects for the remainder of financial year 2013/2014, the Board considers it necessary to raise its forecast again. For continuing and discontinued operations for financial year 2013/2014, the Board currently expects EBITDA of between EUR 36 million and EUR 40 million (previously: EUR 30 million to EUR 35 million) and EBIT in the range of EUR 10 million to EUR 14 million (previously: EUR 3 million to EUR 8 million). The publication of all figures occurs with the submission of the 9-month Report 2013/2014 scheduled for May 8, 2014.
