| Meldung : | DGAP-News: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG / Key word(s): Quarter Results CENTROTEC Sustainable AG: CENTROTEC increases revenue and operating result 14.05.2014 / 07:30 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Brilon, May 14, 2014: in the first three months of the 2014 financial year CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, achieved a year-on-year revenue increase of 6.1 %, to EUR 119.5 million (previous year EUR 112.6 million). All three segments were able to contribute to this growth. Despite absorbing the full, non-recurring costs of EUR 1.0 million for changes in the group's management in the first quarter, EBITDA came to EUR 7.1 million and was thus 5.5 % up on the prior-year figure of EUR 6.7 million. EBIT reached EUR 1.8 million, a decrease compared with the prior-year figure of EUR 2.0 million. The opening months of the 2014 financial year brought positive progress overall, not least thanks to the mild winter. CENTROTEC expects to see a tentatively favourable market environment for 2014 as a whole. Along with the continuing sound development of the German market, there are signs of a recovery in the general economic situation in a number of international markets. Nevertheless, it remains unclear to what extent this positive development will already affect the financial performance of CENTROTEC in the 2014 financial year. Furthermore, economic development in France and Spain remains weak. The impact of the crisis in Ukraine is moreover very difficult to predict as matters stand. Taking that into account, CENTROTEC stands by its expectation of slight revenue and earnings growth.
